The Government believes that legislation is a fundamental pillar of our society and therefore its dissemination should be aimed at providing citizens with the widest possible information. In this context, the Ministry provides online access to all primary legislation and most subsidiary legislation currently in force as well as other ancillary services related to legislation.

Currently the website offers a range of legal services intended for use by the Judiciary, members of the legal profession, students, researchers, the press and the public at large. Currently the services being offered relate to the following:

Acts of Parliament
Legal Notices
Local Councils Bye-Laws

All as published as supplements in the Government Gazette

Primary Legislation
Subsidiary Legislation

Consolidated versions under the Statute Law Revision Act, 1980

Amendments to primary legislation and subsidiary legislation approved by the House of Representatives are integrated on a daily basis within the original text so that the displayed text is the current version of the legislation.
