LAWS OF MALTA
This service includes all the principal legislation currently in force, regularly updated with amendments and new legislation approved by the House of Representatives. For the purposes of Maltese law, this is considered to be the official authorised version of the Laws of Malta but subject to the provisions of article 11A(4) of the Statute Law Revision Act, 1980.
Amendments to existing legislation approved by the House of Representatives are integrated within the original text, ONCE THEY COME INTO FORCE, so that the displayed text is the current version of the legislation. The latest version update (LAST UPDATED ON) is displayed at the top of this page.
Indexes are available in both MALTESE and ENGLISH. Please click on the icons ANALYTICAL INDEX or CHRONOLOGICAL INDEX at the top right hand corner.
Clicking on the required document will take you to the full text of the document itself in pdf format.
A search facility is available in both the Maltese and the English versions. Clicking on any one of the three search facilities available and entering the relative search parameters, a ranked list of all legislation where the search parameters are found will be displayed. Clicking on each listed item will take you to the document itself in pdf format.
To view the document you may need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader. To get the latest version of the Acrobat Reader please visit http://www.acrobat.com.
